COLLEGESWIMMING PROFILE


2019-20
• Participated in nine meets during his first season at BU
• Part of record-breaking relay efforts in the 400-free relay (3:05.04) and 800-free relay (6:47.17) at the PCSC Championships
• Set new personal-bests in the 50-freestyle (:21.65), 100-freestyle (:46.64) and 200-freestyle (1:42.00) at conference
• His top individual finish at the PCSC meet was a fifth-place mark in the 200-freestyle
• Recorded top-6 finishes in all three sprint freestyle events at the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL (SWIM)
• Prepped four varsity seasons with Kingsburg High School in Kingsburg, Calif., graduating in 2019
• Holds the school record in the 100-freestyle (:47.51) and 200-freestyle (1:43.36)
• Four-time CIF Division II Central Section Champions and state qualifiers
• Earned four all-league honors and three league MVP titles
• Four-time honor roll student who also played water polo, football and ran cross country for the Vikings
• Also earned league and team MVP honors in water polo

HIGH SCHOOL (WATER POLO)
• Prepped one varsity season at Kingsburg HS in Kingsburg, Calif. 
• Earned Team MVP honors, First-Team All-League honors and Academic All-League honors

 PERSONAL
• Born April 27, 2000 to Ryan and Julie Huckabay
• Has three younger siblings (Jackson, Lucas and Logan)
• His mother, Julie Huckabay played college volleyball and his father, Ryan, was a collegiate swimmer and is a pro triathlete
• He plans to major in business administration and own his own business
• He enjoys fishing, hunting and being outdoors
• Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Timothy 4:12
