Nathan Harding

Nathan Harding began his time on Head Coach Ryan Kauth's staff in summer 2018. Harding joined the Biola staff following time as the assistant swim coach at Pomona-Pitzer from 2016 through 2018. During his time at Pomona-Pitzer, Harding was part of coaching 16 NCAA qualifiers, as well as an NCAA champion in the men's 100-breaststroke. Nathan also has helped the Sagehens earn a SCIAC Championship on both the men’s and women's side in 2018. 

Harding brings with him a wealth of experience with leading high school programs. He currently serves as head swim coach at Claremont High School. At Claremont, Nathan has coached numerous CIF finalists as well as a CIF State qualifier in the girl's 100-yard butterfly. Harding also served as the head swim coach at Carter High School in Rialto, California from 2012-2015. During his time at Carter, Nathan coached numerous first-time CIF qualifiers and led his team to rewrite all but four of their school records. Harding also led Carter to two league swim league championships including the first-ever aquatics league championship in school history.  

Nathan earned a master's degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sport performance from Louisiana Tech University. Nathan earned his bachelors degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports management from Grambling State University.

Nathan has also served as an assistant swim coach with Mt. Baldy Aquatics in Claremont, California. 

He and his wife, Joneese, were married in 2016. They have one child together (Ezriela) and reside in San Bernardino, California.

When Nathan isn’t coaching or spending time with the family, he enjoys serving at his home church (Abundant Living Family Church) and playing pick-up basketball.
