Paige Austin joined Head Coach Kristin Halte’s staff in 2022, returning to Biola after a decorated collegiate career as one of the program’s top pitchers.
A Biola alumna, Austin graduated with her Bachelor’s of Arts in English in 2022. During her playing career (2017–2022), she was named an NFCA All-American, D2CCA West Region Pitcher of the Year, and PacWest Pitcher of the Year. She also helped lead the Eagles to an NCAA Division II West Region Championship and a National Runner-Up finish in 2021.
Before Biola, Austin played at Los Alamitos High School, where she was part of the 2017 CIF Championship team.
Over the past four years as a coach, Austin has helped guide the Biola Softball team to two West Regional appearances, two PacWest Conference Championships and coached the 2025 PacWest Conference Regular Season Championship team.
Austin is from Huntington Beach, California, and enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with family. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 16:9. When she was asked why she chose to coach at Biola she stated, "I wanted to be in an environment that I could grow in my faith while surrounding myself with like-minded individuals. After graduating from Biola, I wanted to give back and to continue to be a part of the community that gave so much to me."
