Kevin Horchler joined Head Coach Sean Henning's Biola Cross Country and Track & Field in the summer of 2017. He joins the staff after one year away from Biola following his extremely successful competitive career for the Eagles.
Horchler ran for Biola from 2011 through 2015 and earned 11 all-conference honors, four individual conference champions and two NAIA All-American honors. He also comes into this position holding the Eagles' 8k record of 24:17.
He graduated with his bachelor's in environmental science back in 2015. After competing for Biola he became a Brooks Club Northwest sponsored runner in 2017.
He and his wife, Carly, were residing in Washington prior to relocating for this position. She was the athletic director at Evergreen Christian School and he helped the cross country team to a league championship. He also taught science at the school
Horchler is originally from this area. He attended Troy High School and was a six-time MVP in the cross country/track & field program. He helped his team to three league championships in high school and was a four-time scholar-athlete.
He and his wife now reside in Fullerton. They enjoy rock climbing, slacklining, surfing and hanging with their puppies.
