Jayden Earlywine came onto the Biola Athletics staff in 2020 to support Head Coach Sean Henning with the Eagles' cross country teams and track & field distance groups. Earlywine comes to Biola as a four-year letter winner at University of La Verne in cross country and track & field and also holds a Masters in Coaching and Athletics Administration from Concordia University Irvine.
While at La Verne, Earlywine was part of the first Leopards' first men's cross country team to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country National Championship in 2012. His name is still listed on the school's top-10 leaderboard for the 8k (fourth), 800m (fourth), and the 1,500m (seventh).
Earlywine moved on to coach cross country and track at Long Beach City College after completing his athletic eligibility, assisting a women's team that finished 10th at the CCCAA State Championships in addition to several other championship qualifiers.
In addition to working with the distance groups, Earlywine will also support Coach Henning with recruiting.
