COMPLEX
We are pleased to introduce one of the most exciting
projects in the history of Biola University Athletics:
the Biola Tennis Complex.
This project is dedicated to adding the additional
facilities and resources necessary for a safe and
competitive environment. With these facility
improvements, the Biola Tennis Complex will become
a premier tennis center for intercollegiate, wheelchair,
Special Olympics and junior/adult tennis in the
Southern California area.
This project includes:
Player Clubhouse and Lounge
Bathrooms for Players and Spectators
Intercollegiate Coaches’ O?ces
Center Court that Meets Davis Cup Standards
Rooftop Spectator Area
Additional Court
(bringing total number of courts to eight)
Wheelchair Accessiblity Upgrades
Stringing Service Area
As Biola holds to its commitment
to preparing students in mind and
character, we strive to enrich our
athletic programs with facilities that
inspire excellence and provide the
best experience for our student-
athletes, families, alumni and
community. Key to that success is a
modern on-campus tennis facility.
While the tennis program has
had a positive impact on many
athletes throughout the years, the
program is still at a competitive
and recruiting disadvantage in
comparison to our peer institutions.
The much-needed improvements
will allow our athletes to compete
in facilities that do not hamper their
performance.
These renovations will not only
bene?t the tennis program, but
they will also open the door for
even more ministry opportunities
through youth summer camps,
junior tournaments, wheelchair
tennis, regional Special Olympics
events and adult community
competitive play. Our student-
athletes and coaching sta? treasure
these opportunities to share God’s
love with all the groups that visit
the Biola Tennis Complex. When
completed, we will have the
opportunity to allow even more
groups to participate in Biola’s
Tennis programs.
