• Appeared in six meets as a true freshman
• Placed 9th in the 3000S at the PacWest Championships (12:19.61)
• Set personal bests in the 1500 (5:16.98), 3000S (12:03.41), 5000 (19:50.16) and 3000 (11:18.18)

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped one year of varsity at Tesoro High School, graduating in 2023 as the valedictorian
• Recorded career-bests in: XC (19:47), 400m (1:04.47), 2k Steeplechase (8:28), 800m (2:46), and 1600m run (6:18)
• Won the XC Titan Award and the Track Titan Award twice
• Earned honor roll for eight semesters

PERSONAL
• Born June 26, 2005 to Heather Zakhar & Jim Zakhar III
• Has a brother, Jimmy
• Majoring in liberal studies elementary education
• Hopes to become a high school English teacher and cross country/track and field coach or a sports psychologist
• Her mom was a pro golfer who played collegiate golf at the University of Arizona and was a part of the team that won the NCAA National Championships in '96
• Enjoys baking, reading, hiking, going to Disneyland, and watching the Tour de France
• Favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 27:17
• Why I Chose Biola: “First and foremost, it was a smaller Christian school where I could grow my faith. It is close enough to home that I could visit on the weekends if able to. Coach Henning took a chance on me and offered me a roster spot. Running is a big passion of mine. After being on campus, I really felt like Biola was the place for me."
