• Competed in 8 meets for the Eagles
• Earned fourth place in the 200m at the PacWest Championships
• Posted a season-best 400m time of 48.22 at the Ben Brown/Astro AI Invitational
• Earned a top-three finish in the SMR at the Rossi Relays, placing second overall
• Recorded a season-best 200m time of 21.46 at the PacWest Championships
• Contributed to multiple relay performances throughout the outdoor season, including the 4x100m and 4x400m relays

PERSONAL 

• Born on July 4, 2006 to Gary and Pamela Shavey in Mercer Island, Washington
• Has two brothers, Luke and Chase, both play college football
• Father, Gary, played football in college and was a Pac10 Champion
• Enjoys astrophotography and photography 
• Majoring in Computer Science and plans to work as a software developer, begin investing in real estate, stocks, and stock options on the side to supplement my income. I plan to retire early and spend time with friends and family, while traveling the world.
• Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 23:4 
• Reason Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola because of the good Christian values and community, the track team is good and strong, and the Computer Science program prepares its students well.”

HIGH SCHOOL 
• Graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2024 
• Holds second in school history in the 100, 200 and 400 meter 
• Helped his team to Kingco Championships and Sea-King team 2nd place in 2024 
• Received the Coaches award in 2023 and 2024 
• Also played football and lacrosse
