LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY 
• Swam one year with the Lions 
• Was on the scoring team at conference as a freshman 
• Earned PCSC Freshman of the Week 

HIGH SCHOOL 
• Graduated from Coronado High School in 2023 
• Did high school varsity swim her freshman year then committed to solely club swim her final two years of high school 
• Was a part of the National Honors Society 
• Awarded Science Department Award, History Department Award and Faculty Scholarship

PERSONAL
• Born on January 27, 2005 to Shea and Robert Hawthorne 
• Grew up in Coronado, California
• Has an older brother, Grant, who is a swimmer at the Air Force Academy 
• Mom was a cheerleader at UNC Chapel Hill and dad was in sailing at the Naval Academy 
• Enjoys reading and shopping when she is not in the pool 
• Majoring in English and hopes to write for publications 
• Favorite Bible Verse: Hebrews 12:11
• Reason Why I Chose Biola: “I chose to transfer to Biola because the LMU Swim program was cut and I wanted to go somewhere with a heavier focus on God and the Bible. In my initial college search, that wasn’t at the top of my priority, but after one year at a university without it, I’ve come to realize it should’ve been. At our Conference Championships, I observed Biola’s swim team’s culture and knew that was where God wanted me to be.”
