2019-20
• Appeared in 12 meets during her first season with the Eagles
• Made the finals in three individual events at the PCSC Championships
• Placed 10th in the 100-breaststroke (1:06.77) and eighth in the 200-breaststroke (2:25.48) at PCSC
• Set a personal-best in the 200-IM at PSCS (2:10.89), placing 13th
• Earned PCSC NCAA Division II Swimmer of the Week on 11/6/19, following dual meet win over APU
• Set personal-bests in every event she swam at the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite, winning the 100-breaststroke and 200-breaststroke
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Grand Rapids Christian School in Grand Rapids, Mich., graduating in 2019
• Helped her team finish fourth at the state meet, which matched the program's best all-time finish
• 200-IM personal-best: 2:11.34/100-breaststroke personal-best: 1:07.62
• Earned all-state and all-league honors three years
• Was Academic All-State all four years

PERSONAL
• Born Oct. 6, 2000 to Jon and Brenda Haaksma
• Plans to major in kinesiology and pursue a career as a physical therapist
• Has three siblings (Abigail, Mitchel and Jacob)
• Enjoys baking and nutrition
• Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13
• Why I Chose Biola: "I decided to attend Biola because of the positive and welcoming atmosphere the campus presented. I wanted to continue to grow not only in my academics, but also in my relationships with God and new people. Biola fit what I was looking for in a college."
