• Ran in seven meets during his sophomore season, including the NCAA National Championships
• Helped Biola win its second PacWest Championship and earned All-PacWest honors
• Ran his best 8k of the year at Western Oregon's Sundowner Invitational (24:58.1)
• His best 10k of the season came during NCAA West Region Championships (30:59.9)
• Went 31:38.01 to finish 106th in his first NCAA nationals appearance
• Helped Biola to NCAA Division II/USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors

2018
• Appeared in all seven meets during his first season with the Eagles
• Helped the team to Biola's first-ever PacWest championship
• Named PacWest Freshman of the Week once
• Earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCCAA Championships (26:37)
• Made All-PacWest second team with a 14th-place finish (25:35)
• Finished 72nd with his best 8k time of the season (25:01) at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity years at Granite Hills HS in El Cajon, Calif., graduating in 2018
• Led his team to a 2017 Grossmont League Track & FIeld Championship
• Was All-CIF as a sophomore as part of the 4x400m relay team 
• Won the league championship in the 3,200m run twice
• Won the league championship in cross country twice, including a 13th-place state finish as a senior
• Was an honor graduate with a 3.85 GPA
• Also played football for the Eagles
• Named 2015 San Bernardino County Champion
• Awarded Seal of Biliteracy

PERSONAL
• Born March 20, 2000 to Brad and Kim DeHaven
• Has two older siblings (Blake and Bailey)
• His grandfather, Dick DeHaven, played for the Dallas Cowboys
• His brother, Blake, ran track and field at UC Santa Barbara
• Plans to major in computer science and go on to use his knowledge, gifts and talents to serve the Lord
• He enjoys computer games, hiking and cooking
• Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18
• Why I Chose Biola: "I value my faith as a Christian as the top priority in my life and I knew Biola is a place that will challenge me directly in my faith and running. The guys I will be running with are all super cool guys to be around and I’m excited to compete with in them this next year."
