2020
• Once again was Biola's everyday second baseman
• Led the team (and the PacWest Conference) with 19 RBI
• Hit one of the team's three homeruns
• Finished with a .338 batting average and .364 on-base mark
• Seven of her 24 hits went for extra bases
• Scored six runs and stole three bases
• Led the team in sacrifices with two sac flies and two sac bunts
• Brought in 48 putouts and 37 assists with just two errors (.977)
• Second on the team with seven multi-hit games, led the team with five multi-RBI games
• Had a six-game hitting streak between 2/2 and 2/29
• Had the team's only four-RBI game, when she was 3-for-3 with a homer, four RBI and two runs scored vs. ART U on Feb. 22
• **2020 season ended after 23 games due to COVID-19 pandemic

2019
• Second on the team with five homeruns
• Appeared in 37 games, earning 30 starts as a sophomore
• Hit .303 overall (30-for-99)
• Drove in 19 runs and scored 17 times
• Was 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts
• Third on the team with 11 extra-base hits
• PacWest Player of the Week on Feb. 18
• Recorded six multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games

2018
• Appeared in 33 games, earning 16 starts as a true freshman
• Recorded 12 hits in 45 ABs (.267)
• Four of her 12 were for extra bases, including two homeruns
• Stole one base in one attempt
• Drove in 10 runs, while scoring 11
• Had the second-most starts at second base
• Hit a two-run homerun in the bottom of the fifth against Dixie State on April 20, helping BU take a 4-2 lead

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four varsity seasons at Norco HS, graduating in 2017
• Helped her team to the 2015 CIF Southern Section Division I Championship
• Played seven seasons with the Corona Angels club softball team

PERSONAL
• Born May 17, 1999 to Jaime and Nora Velasco
• Has one younger sibling (Kianna)
• Major is currently undecided, but she hopes for a career in psychology or sociology
• She enjoys listening to country music and spending time with family

• Why I Chose Biola: “I chose Biola because it's a university where I can not only play the sport I love while receiving an amazing education, but also grow in faith and become a stronger Christian.
