• Finished first in the 200-backstroke against Fresno Pacific and won the 100-backstroke three times
HIGH SCHOOL• Prepped four varsity seasons at Naperville North HS in Naperville, Ill., graduating in 2011
• Led her team to conference championships from 2007 through 2010
• Was the team captain as a senior, and a recipient of the character and integrity award

PERSONAL• Born March 4, 1993 to Mark and Kris Nerud
• Has one brother (Michael)
• Her dad, Mark, played basketball at St. Olaf College
• Majoring in nursing with hopes to enter a career in medical missions
• She enjoys running half marathons and international missions trips
