2014
• Qualified and competed at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the DMR
• Set a new Biola indoor record with his DMR team at the Spire Institute (10:11.86)
• Won the DMR at the La Verne Indoor Distance Meet
• Ran a 2:00.12 to win the 800m at the CUI Last Chance Invitational
• Only finished outside of the top-five three times throughout the season

2013
• Earned All-GSAC recognition by finishing second with his 4x800m relay team (7:59.61)
• Set a Biola indoor record with his DMR team at the Spire Institute (10:16.10)
• Won the DMR at the Leonard "Blu" Blutreich Invite
• Finished in the top two in a relay at three different meets

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped one varsity season at Trabuco Hills HS in Mission Viejo, Calif., graduating in 2012
• Also played rugby and ran cross country for the Mustangs
• Ran a 1:59 in the 800m
• Led his team to a cross country state championship
 
PERSONAL
• Born Sept. 1, 1993 to Scott and Sheryl Brinson
• Has one younger sister (Kiley)
• His cousin, Christine Young, participates in rowing at the University of Texas
• Majoring in kinesiology with the hope of entering a career in physical therapy
• Enjoys surfing, hiking and “The Walking Dead”
