LA MIRADA ---  The Biola men's cross country team swept the PacWest weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon. 

Zach Elam made his debut for Biola in runner-up fashion. Elam finished with a time of 25:09.3, claiming second place in a field of 112 runners.

Biola was awarded PacWest Team of the Week after a fifth place team finish. Elam and Grant Miller both finished inside the top 20, while the next four Eagles crossed the finish line within 12 places of each other, helping Biola put together a strong team result.

The Eagles will be back in action at the UC Riverside Invitational.
