LA MIRADA---After a standout week at the plate, Kendall Nakano earned PacWest Player of the Week honors following a strong six-game stretch against Dominican and Concordia University Irvine.

Nakano helped power Biola through the week with consistent production in the middle of the lineup. The Sophomore batted 11-for-20 (.550) across the six games with one home run, eight RBIs and two runs scored, while posting a .571 on-base percentage and .700 slugging percentage. Nakano recorded hits in five of the six contests and produced four multi-hit performances, including back-to-back three-hit games against Dominican.

Her biggest performance came in the series finale against CUI, when she went 2-for-3 and drove in five runs, highlighted by a home run. Nakano also opened the week with a trio of multi-hit games against Dominican. She went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the second game, 3-for-5 in the third game and 3-for-3 in the fourth contest.

Nakano's eight RBIs led the Eagles during the week, while her .550 batting average and clutch run production helped fuel Biola's success.
