LA MIRADA---After another dominant week, the Biola softball team swept the PacWest Conference weekly honors following a four-game sweep over Jessup.

Biola earned Team of the Week after taking all four games against Jessup, strengthening its hold atop the conference standings. The Eagles secured wins of 5-4, 8-0, 14-8 and 5-2, including a dramatic comeback in the series finale. After the game was suspended due to lightning with Jessup leading, Biola returned the next day and erupted for five runs in the final inning to complete the sweep. The Eagles were on a 16-game winning streak and improved to 30-15 overall, including a 23-4 mark in PacWest play.

Kennadie Tsue delivered a complete performance to earn PacWest Player of the Week honors. The junior infielder went 7-for-12 (.583) across the four-game series, hitting two home runs, driving in six runs and scoring six times. Tsue completed the cycle during the series with a double, triple and two home runs. She powered Biola in the opening game with both home runs, including a grand slam that helped give the Eagles an early 8-0 lead. The performance marked her first two home runs of her collegiate career and brought her total to 26 RBIs.

DJ Symons was named Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after another dominant stretch in the circle. The senior appeared in all four games, earning two wins, including a five-inning complete game shutout in which she allowed just three hits, walked none and struck out a season-high nine batters. Over 12.2 innings, Symons gave up 10 hits and three earned runs while striking out 15 and posting a 1.66 ERA. The left-hander now holds a 12-11 record, with each of her last seven decisions resulting in wins.
