LA MIRADA---After going undefeated this week, the Biola softball team swept the PacWest Conference's weekly honors.

Biola won PacWest Team of the Week for going 6-0 against Chaminade and Azusa Pacific. Biola began the week by going 4-0 against Chaminade and then capped the week with a doubleheader sweep over APU on Saturday. The Eagles are on a 10-game winning streak.

DJ Symons put together a dominant week for Biola, starring as both a starter and reliever in four appearances. The Senior went 3–0 with a save and did not allow a single walk over 20.1 innings. Symons highlighted this week with a four-hit complete game shutout against Azusa Pacific and three perfect innings to secure a save in another win over the Cougars. Symons allowed just 12 hits, struck out 13, and posted a 1.39 ERA. He now stands at 11–4 on the season with a 2.82 ERA.

Lillianna Garcia had a standout week for BU, hitting .643 (9-for-14) over five games. The redshirt-Junior drove in 11 runs, tallying four doubles and a home run. She went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI in the second game of the APU doubleheader. Garcia lifted her batting average from .308 to .367 during the stretch.
