Ethan Michael
O'Keefe's thoughts on Michael: "Ethan comes to us from Dallas and adds exceptional experience and threat to our backline. He's ambidextrous and has a cannon of an arm for throw-ins. He will be an immediate impact player from the first game and we have huge expectations for him in his two seasons that he'll be with us."
Francesco Tricarico
O'Keefe's thoughts on Tricarico: "Francesco or "Keko" is coming off a National Championship as the #1 goalkeeper last fall for his junior college in Iowa. He's an extremely professional player both on and off the field. Keko has an engine that never quits and will bring outstanding competition to our goalkeeper position this year. His tactical knowledge of the game is advanced and his passion is unmatched."
Joey Glaab
O'Keefe's thoughts on Glaab: "I've had to game plan and coach against Joey for two years and he tore up the PacWest, while representing the Academy of Art. Joey's got incredible energy on the field and I haven't seen someone that loves goal scoring more than he does. I am so excited to get him in a Biola jersey this year and watch him do damage against our opponents."
Jackson Finn
O'Keefe's thoughts on Finn: "Jackson has a huge pedigree, transferring in from one of the top MLS academies and NCAA D1 programs in the country. However even more impressive is the man that he is and his story of how the Lord met him and changed his heart. Jackson brings a fire and passion to the game that I am thrilled to coach and though we only have him for one season, I believe he can make a sizable impact for years to come."
Gauthier Caloz
O'Keefe's thoughts on Caloz: "Calo is a gamer, simple as that. His knowledge of the game is superb and he has remarkable tenacity to win battles and advance the ball forward from the defensive position. He will be a high minute guy for us this year and be a stand out on the backline."
Ian Pierra
O'Keefe's thoughts on Pierra: "Ian joined us in the spring and has brought a professionalism and work rate that is woven into the team DNA. He's got an engine that doesn't quit and a team-first mentality above all else. He's will bolted our midfield and we expect him to be a strong contributor in his first season here at Biola."
Carlos Reyes
O'Keefe's thoughts on Reyes: "Carlos comes from one of the top JUCO's in the state and has a raw ability that is technically clean and smooth. He sees passes that others cannot and he has the quality to pull them off. I'm excited to add new parts of his game and to refine him on the field."
Kyle Denn
O'Keefe's thoughts on Denn: "Kyle is a goal scoring threat and pure striker of the ball. He transfers from Indiana and is one of the most threatening players on his day. I'm excited to see him score goals from inside and outside the box this season. He is very professional and wants to use this step as a platform to continue playing at the next level."
Mickyas Beyene
O'Keefe's thoughts on Beyene: "Micky is a workhorse. He logs so many miles on the pitch and has an open mind to learn so much about the game. His development at Biola will be huge and I expect him to continue to improve each day as he has the mindset for it and a high ceiling."
Liam Brennan
O'Keefe's thoughts on Brennan: "Liam is a hard nosed and tough midfielder who may also get some looks out wide for us this season. He has excellent technique and can strike a ball very cleanly. I'm excited to see him excel on the field and in our film department, he brings such a positive attitude to the locker room as well."
Joel Smith
O'Keefe's thoughts on Smith: "Joel is a physical specimen and has a soccer IQ that is top of the class. He knows the game as good or better than anyone and has remarkable skill and can use his body to create spaces for himself that others cannot. He will be extremely versatile this season and can play anywhere up the spine for us."
Benjamin Bastidos
O'Keefe's thoughts on Bastidos: "Ben is an intelligent center mid that can cover a high volume of ground and advance the ball forward from midfield. He's coming in with an incredible IQ for the game and from a great soccer education at his previous academies."
Lamar McKenzie
O'Keefe's thoughts on McKenzie: "We first spotted Lamar when he was just a sophomore and we tracked his progress over multiple years. He offers great athleticism, desire to score goals, and a raw talent rarely seen with his profile. We expect him will make immediate contributions as a freshman and to get his game to the next level."
Ethan Caudle
O'Keefe's thoughts on Caudle: "Ethan is a defender with a great physical profile and range of distribution. He had a very impressive high school campaign and is a clear leader on the field. Caudle will learn from our highly experienced back line and have huge growth in our program."
Shaun Kim
O'Keefe's thoughts on Kim: "Shaun is an outside back with fantastic determination. He's player that battles for 1v1 defensive wins and will help to push the level we have of experienced defenders this Fall."
Rocky Mendoza
O'Keefe's thoughts on Mendoza: "Rocky is a versatile defender that can perform centrally and on the wide positions. His left foot distribution is strong and his 1v1 challenges are thunderous. He's a great leader and character both on and off the field."
Parker Vititoe
O'Keefe's thoughts on Vititoe: "Parker is another player that we've been monitoring since his sophomore year of high school. He's a defender that not just loves to win duels, but also can advance the ball forward in extremely dangerous ways that offset opponents. He's a hard worker that never complains and I'm excited to see the player he becomes in the program."
Biola plays next tomorrow Saturday, Sept. 6th at 7 p.m. against Cal State San Bernardino at Al Barbour Field.
