LA MIRADA --- Biola University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have achieved the prestigious honor of being named CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Teams. This recognition highlights their exceptional academic performance during the Spring semester.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized over 764 teams from 433 institutions with Thursday's announcement.
The women's swimming and diving team distinguished themselves with an impressive team GPA of 3.66, while the men's team also excelled academically with a commendable team GPA of 3.33. These accomplishments reflect the teams' dedication to maintaining a balance between rigorous athletic commitments and high academic standards.
In addition to the collective accolades, individual honors were bestowed upon senior
Lorelai Carney and junior
Caleb Pook. Their inclusion in the Scholar All-America Team underscores their personal commitment to academic excellence amid their athletic pursuits.Â
Both teams made the CSCAA Scholar All-America list for the third-straight semester.
