LA MIRADA --- Biola's 2024-25 academic prowess continued its display of excellence with the announcement of the PacWest Academic Achievement Award. Although the Eagles did not win, BU athletics boasted the third-highest grade-point average at 3.51.

The Eagles were inches behind the leaders, coming up just short of Dominican and Point Loma. Biola's 3.51 GPA was just .01 shy of the award-winners at 3.52. 

The men's sports for Biola were a big part of the success, outdoing the rest of the conference at a 3.48 GPA, beating second place by .04. 

Three teams from Biola led the way in GPA in their individual sport, including men's cross country (3.59), men's track & field (3.55), and volleyball (3.72).
