Omofoma Makes it to the Podium, BU Completes Steve Scott and Oxy Invites

The Biola track & field teams competed in 17 events between the Steve Scott and Oxy Invitationals. Eboselulu Omofoma recorded Biola’s only podium finish at the Steve Scott Invite.

IRVINE, Calif.---The Biola track & field teams competed in 17 events between the Steve Scott and Oxy Invitationals.

Ebose Omofoma recorded Biola's only podium finish, placing second in the women's 400 hurdles with a personal best time of 59.72. Her time of 59.72 is the 10th-best time in the Division II and another NCAA Provisional mark for the freshman.

Donovan Tommy had an impressive performance in the 100m dash. Tommy placed ninth of 45 runners with a speedy time of 10.78.

Audrey Mousa had a standout performance in the women's 200. Mousa led Biola in the event, placing 17th of 56 athletes with a time of 24.9.

Hannah Hanson, Harmony Chennault, Aidan Tomasini and Mason Hedger also achieved personal bests. Hanson ran 1:01.68 in the 400 hurdles, Chennault recorded 1.48m in the high jump, Tomasini ran 3:48.32 in the 1500 and Mason Hedger recorded 4:07.49 in the 1500.

Next up for Biola is the APU Last Chance Meet that will take place Friday, May 9th to Saturday May 10th at the Cougar Athletic Stadium.
