LONG BEACH, Calif.--- The Biola women's track and field team ended the weekend by sending five Eagles to the final day of Beach Invite. 

Hope Willis, Leah Gilmore, Norah DeYoung, Rachel Sizelove and Laura Brennan all traveled back to Cal State Long Beach to compete in the discus throw and shot put events. 

Brennan was the only Eagle to compete in the shot put event and recorded the highest finish of the day in 38th. She recorded a 12.74m throw while competing against 61 other athletes. 

In the discus throw, Willis led the Eagles in 52nd place with a 41.00m throw. Gilmore's 38.23m throw put her just one spot ahead of DeYoung who recorded a 37.09m mark. Sizelove rounded out the Eagles in the event with her 33.00m throw, missing her personal best by just .56m. 

The Eagles will head up to Fresno for the PacWest Championships on Friday, April 25th as they near the end of the season.
