SURPRIZE, Ariz.---Isabella Chavarria represented the Biola women's tennis team as a First Team All-PacWest selection.
"Isa has had an amazing year and it's a huge honor," stated head coach David Goodman. "It's a testament to her hard work and growth from last year to this year."
Chavarria went from playing courts 4-6 in 2024 to starting at courts 1 and 2 in 2025.
The Sophomore led the Biola women's tennis team with a 16-4 overall singles record from the first and second courts. She is 10-1 overall from the first court and 6-3 from the second. Chavarria recorded notable wins against two nationally-ranked teams, #14 APU and #22 PLNU.
Chavarria is also nationally-ranked the 60th-best singles player by ITA.
