Box Score LA MIRADA --- Biola defended its home court on Wednesday afternoon, taking down the visiting Vulcans of Hawaii Hilo. The Eagles nabbed their fourth-straight victory, showing out in singles for a 5-2 final score.

The vibes were good at the Biola Tennis Center, as the successes continued with winning streaks for the team and for the singles players.

Doubles started strong for the Eagles with a convincing 6-1 win from Isabella Chavarria and Alexandria Mann. Hawaii Hilo battled back on courts two and three and stole the first point of the match.

The momentum quickly swung to the Eagles, as the match switched to the singles portion. Through six courts, BU picked up the first set in five matchups.

Nothing changed through set two, as all six singles matches finished in straight-sets. Biola nabbed five of the six singles bouts for a 5-2 final score in BU's favor.

Isabelle Karam led the way, logging her fourth-straight win with a 6-2, 6-0 rout. The freshman was the first to finish on court five. Mann was up next, logging a quick win on court six, 6-0, 6-1.

Kailee Mazzeo delivered on the second court for BU's third point. She also moved her winning streak in singles to four, working through a tough 7-5 set one, before polishing off the win with a 6-2 set two.

After the Vulcans stole a second point on the day, the Eagles clinched the match from the No. 4 spot. Alessia Radu provided the match-winner with a 6-3, 6-4 straight-sets victory. Dafne Andres put the cherry on top, nabbing the fifth point for BU with a 7-5, 6-4 showing on court number three.
