IRVINE, Calif. --- Biola Softball tore through conference action last week and picked up accolades to reflect its success. BU nabbed the PacWest Team of the Week award, while Raquel Reyes nabbed the PacWest Pitcher of the Week honor.

The Eagles went for five games last week, battling Dominican in a three-game series on Monday and Tuesday and kicking off a series with Vanguard on the road on Saturday. The team found great success, going 4-1 in the stretch, while allowing just 11 runs through the five games.

The highlight of the week came off the arm of Reyes, who tossed a one-hitter last week on Monday. The righty hurler logged the complete game, allowing just one hit and two total base runners with four strikeouts in a 2-0 Biola win.

Through three appearances last week, Reyes compiled 15.2 innings pitched and zero runs allowed. She tallied seven strikeouts and earned wins in both starting appearances. 

Three excellent outings moved her earned-run average below 3.00 and she picked up her fifth win of the season.

Biola softball is set to wrap its series against Vanguard at home on Monday.
