LA MIRADA---The Biola women's track & field program welcomed 12 newcomers to their 2025 roster.

"I'm excited for the new student-athletes we've brought into the program this year," exclaimed head coach Sean Henning. "Many of them will offer immediate help at the PacWest and possibly national level, and a good amount will bring great depth to the program and hopefully be very impactful down the line after a year to adjust to the college level of training and competition. All of them have shown to be great fits for the Biola community and embrace the idea of being a Christian student-athlete and striving to honor the Lord through excellence in the sport."

The Eagles' 12 newcomers include eight freshmen and four transfers. Biola's transfer students include sophomore Autumn Murray (Montana State University), junior Reese Adams (Shasta College), sophomore Caitlin Chea (San Jose State University) and sophomore Ella Hoang (Golden West College).

Reese Adams

Coach Johnson's Thoughts: "Reese comes to Biola University as a jumper/sprinter from Shasta College as a transfer student. She helps add depth to those events and will add value to the team. Be on the lookout for some new marks from her!"

Kailey Centers

Coach Johnson's Thoughts: "Kailey comes to Biola University from New Mexico as a State Champion. She will have the opportunity to contribute to the team and really develop as a young sprinter. Relays will just be icing on the cake! Can't wait to see how the season unfolds for her."

Keeley Chard

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Keeley is another addition to the squad from Sam Barlow HS, the fourth one. She is a developing vaulter who loved what Biola is all about and was driven to be a part of a team that was Chris-centered as she continued to develop her talents as a jumper. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do for this squad this spring!"

Caitlin Chea

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Caitlin comes from a solid program up in the central valley and is a welcome addition to the team after finishing her freshman year at San Jose State University. She is a great personality to have with our group and has a lot of untapped potential we are looking forward to pulling out of her in the coming years. She will provide some great depth in the 1,500 and 3K steeple this spring."

Harmony Chennault

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Harmony is a welcome addition to the jumps squad. She will provide good depth to our women's high jump crew and I look forward to seeing her develop under Coach Nadya's guidance this spring."

Ella Hoang

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Ella is very new to the sport, having only started in junior college and throwing for a year. You can see her untapped potential and natural ability, not to mention her team-first mentality and ability to be coached. I'm looking forward to her helping us out in throws at the PacWest level this spring."

Caden Hunter

Coach Johnson's Thoughts: "Caden is an athlete that we just had to have in our program! After her visit, and what we witnessed through a few drills, we knew right away that she was going to be special. She works extremely hard and applies the corrections from practice well. She's going to have a breakout season." 

Jaina Kang

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Jaina was a big addition for us this year. She has already been impactful right off the bat in cross country, and we expect to see the same on the track. She is a very good steepler and a great competitor. She has a heart for the Lord and is a terrific fit for the mission of Biola."

Autumn Murray

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Autumn is a great fit for Biola. She has a lot of untapped potential and has fit in perfectly with our squad so far. She is driven and very disciplined, a great teammate, and is going to grow very quickly as a new multi. Look for big things from her over the next few years."

Ebose Omofoma

Coach Johnson's Thoughts: "Eboselulu is an amazing young athlete coming to Biola as a State Champion in multiple events. We can't wait to see how much she develops in her events and the success that is on her horizon. The sky's the limit for her!"

Rachel Sizelove

Coach Henning's Thoughts: "Rachel is joining her brother in our throws crew this year, and is a great fit for Biola. She is going to learn a ton this year and continue to develop into a very solid thrower, in particular in discus. I'm looking forward to watching and seeing her surprise some people this spring!"

Hope Willis
