Box Score IRVINE, Calif. --- On the road, Biola men's basketball (19-6, 13-4 PacWest) maintained its winning pace, defeating Concordia (12-10, 7-8 PacWest) on Wednesday night. The Eagles picked up a comfortable 91-76 win, offering an efficient night, shooting 59.6 percent from the field and 56.3 percent from downtown.

Win number eight in a row marked the best in the DII-era for Biola, as the team displayed a balanced attack against the Golden Eagles. Four Eagles hit 18 points, while the team offered its best three-point field goal percentage in a game this season.

Davian Brown was the catalyst, netting 10 points in the run, while being perfect from the field at three makes on three attempts.

A short burst from the Golden Eagles cut into a 10-point Biola edge halfway through the first half. A 25-15 lead for BU shrunk to a 27-24 edge in a matter of minutes.

The push from the host squad did not last, as Biola turned it around before the break. A 17-8 run from BU capped off the first half, as the Eagles owned a 12-point lead at halftime. It was the defense to take over for BU with CUI shooting 2-11 over the final eight minutes.

It began to rain in the second half, as the threes were falling in CU Arena. Five different Eagles combined to sink five three-pointers on six attempts in the first seven minutes of the second half.

The BU advantage reached its peak at 70-48, a 22-point lead with 11:01 on the clock. CUI was never able to pull within single digits, as the Eagles closed out the 91-76 win.

Erik Howlin paced the squad in the scoring column with 22 points in the win, while also leading the team with eight rebounds.
