LA MIRADA---The Biola men's soccer team fell 5–0 to nationally-ranked No. 11 Point Loma Wednesday night at Al Barbour Field.

Point Loma scored goals in the 22nd, 32nd, 35th, 44th and 75th minutes.

Francesco Tricarico and Jaden Nisperos split time in the goal for Biola. Tricarico started the match and allowed four goals to score while making two saves. Nisperos began the second half and allowed one goal while making two saves.

The Eagles were out-shot  11-7.  The Sea Lions had nine shots on goal to Biola's two. Luca McGreevey Couchman and Ryan Ellsworth supplied BU's shots on goal.

Biola drops to 4–5–3 overall and 1–3–1 in the PacWest Conference, while Point Loma improves to 7–2–1 and 3–0–0 in the PacWest.

Next up for BU is Westmont College on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Thorrington Field.
