Biola Track & Field Summer Camp

The 2024 Biola Track & Field Summer Camp is set to take place July 29 - August 1.

July 12, 2024

LA MIRADA--- It's not too late to reserve your spot for the 2024 Biola Track & Field Summer Camp, set to take place July 29 - August 1.

This camp is geared towards individuals with previous experience in sprints, hurdles, jumps, relays, pole vault, or throws who are interested in bettering themselves and competing at the collegiate level. The goal of the camp is to develop skills in different event areas and experience what it is like to compete at the collegiate level. Athletes will get the chance to improve their technique, compete among fellow athletes and dive into the collegiate culture of Biola.

Attendees will get a glimpse into what it is like to be a part of the Biola Track & Field program, through their overnight stay in the dorms, on-campus meals, group activities and general camaraderie/instruction with those in the program. Participants will work directly with the track & field program's lead assistant coach Justin Johnson and assistant coaches Nadya Wisham and Garrett Silva. There will also be several current Biola track & field student-athletes helping out with the four-day camp.

The camp includes four total track sessions, an all-athlete competition day with prizes, daily team bonding activities and a campus tour.

There are two camp packages: residential and commuter.

The residential package is $550. This option is for individuals who will stay overnight in campus lodging. These campers are chaperoned by camp staff and will have a full itinerary during each day of the camp. They will participate in normal camp sessions from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. In addition, there will be team-building activities in the evening. Registration cost includes camp, three meals a day at the cafeteria, a camp t-shirt and two strength and conditioning sessions.

The commuter package is $350. This option is for individuals who will not stay in campus lodging. These campers check-in and check-out during each day of the camp. Check-in is at 9:45 a.m. daily.  Registration cost includes camp, lunch each day at the cafeteria, a camp t-shirt and two strength and conditioning sessions.
