LA MIRADA---Brady Turnquist, Rachel Shaw, Theresa Shaw and Karis Haltom were awarded Scholar All-American honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). 

"What an incredible way to top off our season with four WGCA Scholar All-Americans," stated head coach Jane Carr. "This is one of the most challenging awards to achieve and to see four of our athletes receive it is incredibly impressive. These athletes have a rigorous training and travel schedule. The discipline and focus it takes to perform at this level on and off the course is so admirable."  

All four athletes are business administration scholars who played key roles in Biola's successful 2023-24 season. Rachel Shaw leads the group of four with a 3.93 GPA, Haltom has a 3.80 GPA, Theresa Shaw has a 3.68 GPA and Turnquist graduated this past May with a 3.69 GPA.

Turnquist, Haltom, Rachel Shaw and Theresa Shaw were four of the five individuals who competed at the 2024 PacWest Championships where Biola won their second conference championship in program history. The four also competed at the NCAA West Regional where BU placed 10th of 12 teams.

Turnquist, Rachel Shaw and Theresa Shaw were All-PacWest selections. Turnquist was the PacWest Player of the Year, PacWest Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year, First Team All-PacWest and CSC Academic All-District. 

Rachel Shaw was a Second Team All-PacWest pick and CSC Academic All-District. Theresa Shaw, a true Freshman, was Third Team All-PacWest.
