CLEVELAND, Ohio --- The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup final standings for the 2023-24 season came to a close in June, accounting for the national standing of each NCAA Division II sponsored sport. Biola pulled in 187 points on the year with multiple national placements.

Out of the 314 NCAA Division II member institutions, the Eagles finished 108th. Biola earned the fourth-most points among PacWest institutions, which is its highest-ever placement.

"I am proud of the way our teams represented our institution throughout their competition in 2023-24. It was thrilling to showcase our commitment to athletic excellence and commitment to Christ on a national stage," said Dr. Bethany Miller, senior director of athletics. "The upward trajectory within the conference is exciting, and we hope to reach even greater heights of success in the near future."

Biola accumulated points from the start of the year through the end of spring with talent throughout its programs. Women's Cross Country led the way with a 17th-place finish at nationals for 57 points. Men's Tennis was not far behind, reaching regionals and grabbing 50 points.

Men's and Women's Water Polo each captured their conference crowns to earn a spot at the national tournament for 25 points. Women's Golf also nabbed the conference title and finished in 37th, nationally, for 30 points.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup is a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
