LA MIRADA---Biola men's golf alumni Greg Bodine experienced a once-in-a-lifetime moment on Sunday, serving as Bryson DeChambeau's caddie when DeChambeau won the U.S. Open at the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club.

DeChambeau, with the help of Bodine, won the 2024 U.S. Open title by one stroke.

Bodine is no stranger to the bag. Prior to working with DeChambeau, he was a caddie for 2016 PGA Tour title winner Tony Finau who he worked with for six years.

After parting with Finau, Bodine focused his efforts on a new business venture, the Evergreen Golf Club, with former NFL wide receiver Jermaine Kearse.

In 2023, Bodine made his return to professional caddying to assist DeChambeau. Bodine and DeChambeau worked well together, winning  LIV Individual events at the LIV Chicago and LIV Greenbrier before competing at the U.S. Open.

Bodine played for the Biola men's golf team from 2007 to 2012.
