IRVINE, Calif. --- 2023-24 saw plenty of big highlights for the Biola Eagles. Biola saw success from start to finish, on the way to a fourth place showing in the PacWest Commissioner's Cup.
The Eagles took on the 11 conference teams in the fight for points based on each sport's overall finish. BU repeated as the fourth-place finisher, behind great performances from Women's Golf and Women's Cross Country.
Biola scored the second-most points of any school in the PacWest with 143.5 on the year. The Eagles increased on their total from last year through the 14 sports. BU averaged 10.25 points per team, ranking fourth in the conference, while the highest ranking school averaged 12.58 points per team.
Women's Cross Country and Women's Golf led the way with 15 points apiece, as conference champions. Both squads ended their seasons on top of the leaderboard to pull in the maximum points of 15.
Two more teams finished in the top three of their respective sports, including Men's Soccer and Men's Tennis. Men's Soccer grabbed second place in the fall for 13 points and Men's Tennis earned 12 points this spring with a third place showing in 2024.
Azusa Pacific took the crown for the fourth-straight year with an average of 12.58 points per sport. Point Loma and Concordia followed with averages above 10 as well.
Biola and Westmont were the only two schools of the 11 in the conference to sponsor 14 of the 15 PacWest sports.
