AZUSA, Calif.---The Biola track and field teams wrapped up the second day of the APU Last Chance Meet which was their final regular season meet of 2023-24.

Biola competed in 14 events on Saturday, five field and nine track events. The Eagles had one podium finish, seven top 10 finishes and 14 athletes finish in the top half of participants in their event.

Susi Bruennig collected Biola's only podium finish of the APU Last Chance Meet. Bruennig placed third in the 3000m steeplechase with a personal best time of 10:37.58. The Junior's time of 10:37.58 was an NCAA Provisional time that is the 15th-best time in Division II. 

Britta Holmberg also performed well in the 3000m steeplechase, placing fifth of 23 athletes with a NCAA Provisional and personal best time of 10:43.76. Her time of 10:43.76 is the 26th best in DII. 

Donovan Tommy had a great showing in the 100m Dash College Final, placing fourth with a time of 10.61. 

Jack Sapyta had an impressive performance in the 400m dash, also recording a top 10 finish. The Sophomore finished sixth of 45 runners with a personal best time of 47.43. Sapyta's time of 47.43 is an NCAA Provisional mark that is the 39th-best in Division II.

Katie Thompson earned a top 10 finish in the high jump, placing seventh of 16 athletes with a mark of 1.66m.

Aidan Tomasini recorded a top 10 finish in the 1500m run. Tomasini crossed the finish line seventh with a personal best time of 3:49.30.

Charles Bailey had Biola's final top 10 finish in the 3000m steeplechase, crossing the finish line ninth (9:10.60).

Jan Kuncický and Rouxan le Roux finished in the top half of participants in the 1500m run. Kuncicky placed 53rd of 155 runners with a time of 3:58.89 and le Roux was the 56th runner to finish (3:59.68).

Matthew Kaloustian led BU's men in the 200m dash, finishing 14th of 61 athletes with a time of 21.58.

Ella Voris also picked up a solid finish in the 1500m run. The Freshman placed 32nd of 77 individuals (4:46.91).

Jeremiah Echeverria and A.J. Antonio recorded personal bests in their events. Echeverria had a personal best time of 9:36.85 in the 3000m steeplechase and AJ Antonio had a personal best mark of 6.83m in the long jump.
