IRVINE, Calif.---Colbeyshae Emery was named this week's PacWest Player of the Week for her shining performances against CSULA and Point Loma.

Emery played an integral role in Biola's 7-0 victory over Cal State LA. The redshirt Senior helped the Eagles' win the doubles point and then recorded a singles win. 

Emery won second-court doubles 6-1 with her partner Lilly McNeill and then won first-court singles 6-3, 6-2. 

Later in the week, Emery earned a singles win against nationally-ranked No. 23 PLNU. Emery, nationally-ranked No. 56, defeated nationally-ranked No. 45 Amanda Letzring 6-4, 6-2 on the first court.

Emery is 10-6 overall from the first court and 2-2 against nationally-ranked opponents. She also has a two-match winning streak.
