Embarking on a Quest

The Eagles are treading through familiar waters as they take on the PCSC Championships this week.

February 13, 2024

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. --- Over the next four days, Biola Aquatics will strut their stuff at the PCSC Championships in Monterey Park, California. Both squads will vie for a conference title, as the men's team look to repeat atop the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference.

The Biola men will take to the East LA College Swim Stadium in search of the team's third PCSC title. The 2023 champs capped off the 2023-24 regular season with three dual meet wins, including over PCSC foes in Fresno Pacific and the Master's.

The Biola women will jump into the pool with their eyes set on a second PCSC championship. The team's first and only title came in 2021 and they will enter the 2024 championships coming off a strong win over the Master's on senior day.

The conference championships will begin on Wednesday with a quick battle on the boards. Diving will open up the competition on Wednesday morning with women's 3M and men's 1M preliminary and finals events. Wednesday evening will see the start of swimming events including the 1,000 freestyle and a pair of relays.

As the competition shifts to Thursday, swimming will take over with prelims in the morning and finals at night. Diving will be back in action in the afternoon with the final dives of the week.

Friday and Saturday will see days full of individual and relay swimming events in the pool. Each day will follow the rhythm of morning preliminary events and evening finals races.

The Eagles are led by Head Coach Nathan Harding. The 2023 PCSC Men's Coach of the Year will guide his team through the conference championships in his third year at the helm.
