LA MIRADA---Biola's women's divers went head to head against Azusa Pacific in the 1m and 3m dives at Lansing Pool. Lorelai Carney, Abby DePina and Lauren Smith competed against three divers from APU. 

Carney dominated the boards, winning first place in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. She began the meet with a victory in the 1m (283.05) and finished with her win in the 3m (287.78). The Senior also hit Division II NCAA Qualifying marks in both dives.

DePina was Biola's next-best scorer in the 1m, finishing third with her score of 246.08 and Smith placed fourth of six (192.98).

DePina finished a slot higher in the 3m dive, edging out APU's Alison Ferrer to take second place with her score of 242.93.

Lauren Smith finished fifth in the 3-meter with a score of 169.95.

The Eagles will finish the APU Duel meet tomorrow Saturday, Nov. 2 at Slauson Pool. The swim portion is set to begin at 10 a.m.
