IRVINE, Calif.---The Biola women's golf team swept the PacWest Conference's weekly awards with their outstanding performances in paradise.

The Eagles received PacWest Team of the Week for the second time this fall. Biola began their Hawaii trip with the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate where they finished sixth (+30) of 15 teams and ended with the Sharks Shootout where they were moved up to fourth (+23) of 15 teams (mostly the same field).

In both tourneys, the Eagles had the highest finish of the three other PacWest Conference teams in attendance (Vanguard, Hawaii Hilo, Hawaii Pacific).

Biola's Hawaii line-up included Claire Shubin, Melanie Reyes, Theresa Shaw, Laura Ortiz and Abigale Morris.

Shubin led Biola at both invitationals and won PacWest Golfer of the Week. She tied for 13th in a talented field at the Dennis Rose with back-to-back rounds of 75 for a two-day score of +6 and a few days later tied for fourth at the HPU Sharks Shootout with a 36-hole score of -1 (71-72).
