PUAKO, Hawaii --- Day two and round two showed similar results for the Eagles, as the team remained in fourth place at the HPU Shootout. In a field of 14 teams with four ranked foes, Biola showed strength in Hawaii.

The two round tournament featured an Eagles team that went for 298 and +10 on day one and 301 and +13 on day two. 

Claire Shubin was the key cog in the mix, tying for fourth place on the individual scoreboard. She played well on day two, going even in the round with 14 pars and a pair of birdies.

Laura Ortiz and Theresa Shaw rounded out the top-20, matching each other at +6 for the weekend. The teammates reflected each other's scorecards with rounds of 74 on day one and then 76 on day two. Both players landed 14 pars, while Shaw tossed in a birdie on a par five.

Melanie Reyes improved on Saturday, logging a birdie on hole four and hole 12. She wrapped up the day with a score of +5 and 77 total strokes.

Rachel Shaw competed as an individual and offered up a final round of 82 to finish in a tie for 51st place.

The Eagles will return to action in the spring semester at the Jack Brown Memorial Tournament beginning on February 3.
