Eisenmann Scores Goal on Senior Day

The men’s soccer team celebrated 11 seniors Saturday night at Al Barbour Field.

LA MIRADA---The Biola men's soccer team celebrated 11 seniors Saturday night at Al Barbour Field.

Drew Darke, Nicholas Daniel, Leandro Weingaertner, Robin Glöckle, Justin Eisenmann, Tom Irion, Gijs van Schouten, Adrian Acevedo, Tomislav Jozinovic, Samuel Vandegrift and Dylan Memory played their last matches at Al Barbour Field.

Eisenmann had an extra special senior game, scoring the Eagles' goal in their 3-1 loss to Vanguard. Eisenmann knocked in BU's goal in the 73rd minute which closed the Eagles deficit to one goal (2-1).

Vanguard scored their goals in the 10th, 67th and 85th minutes. 

Van Schouten played the full 90 as the Eagles' goalkeeper, making three saves to keep the match close for Biola. Van Schouten was supported by Acevedo and Jozinovic on defense who also played the full 90 minutes against the Lions.

Next up for Biola is Point Loma on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Point Loma Soccer Field.
