FULLERTON, Calif. --- An evening race on Friday featured Biola cross country, as the teams sent a combined eight runners. The BU women had two competitors, while the men took fourth place with six participants.

Joshua Klausmeier headlined the day with a nine place showing in the 8k race. The freshman logged a time of 24:57.7. Edgar Ortega came in next for BU at 25:20.7 for 19th place.

On the women's side, Ella Voris captured 12th place. The sophomore came in at 18:48.4 in the 5k race. Alongside Voris, Caitlin Chea took to the course and landed in 23rd place at 19:20.1.

Ben Eriksen continued the pace for the BU men, taking 26th place and clocking a time of 25:55.3, while moving up in positions through all five splits. Luke Poarch, Carter Hawley, and Nicholas Geringer rounded out the team for Biola with finishes of 48, 59, and 73, respectively.

The rest of the BU squad is set to compete on Saturday, racing at the PacWest Championships in Irvine, California at 9:00 and 10:00 am.
