LA MIRADA---Tomislav Jozinovic was named PacWest Conference's Defender of the Week for his standout performances in Northern California.

The Senior Defender played a key role in the Eagles' victories over Academy of Art and Dominican. He helped direct BU's defense during a 3-1 conquest of the Urban Knights and a 2-1 clipping of the Penguins, but he also got on the scoreboard with goal in the first match and an assist in the second. 

Jozinovic played the full 90 minutes in both matches. His goal against ART U was the first of his career at Biola and he tallied his second career assist with the Eagles.

Next up for the Biola men's soccer team is their Cornerstone Cup match against Azusa Pacific. The Eagles and Cougars face off tomorrow Wednesday, October 16 at 7 p.m. at Al Barbour Field.
