CLEVELAND, Ohio --- With the 2022-23 year all wrapped up, the final standings for the Learfield Directors' Cup has been announced. Through the NCAA Division II, the Eagles scored 206 points to land in 104th place, posting their best finish in the DII era. 

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.

Biola picked up points from five different teams over the past year. In the fall the Eagles grabbed 73 points with a combined effort from men's soccer and women's cross country. When spring came around, BU grabbed its best total from women's water polo with a fifth place finish at nationals and 60 points for Biola. Two more teams added to Biola's total in the spring, including softball and men's track and field.

The 104th place for the 2022-23 season was the top placement for the Eagles since the transition to NCAA Division II.
