INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.---The Biola Softball team moved up in the NCAA's latest Division II West Regional rankings. The Eagles (27-20 overall, 19-11 PacWest) were previously ranked No. 8 in the West Region and this week moved up to No. 7.

The top eight teams in each region will advance to their respective regional. The final rankings will be released in the final selection show which is scheduled for Monday, May 8 at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET). 

This week Biola is competing in the 2023 PacWest Softball Championships at Freedom Field. The No. 2 seeded Eagles play in the first round today Wednesday, May 3 at 5 p.m. against the third seed Azusa Pacific. The winner of the conference championships will receive the PacWest's automatic qualifier berth to West Regionals.
