LOUISVILLE, Ky.--- Raylene Roybal earned the NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) in its inaugural year.

Roybal received this honor as a pitcher where she was a defensive wall for the Eagles. 

Roybal pitched in parts of 34 games this season with 16 starts and threw 10 complete games. In 106.1 innings of work, which is second-most in the PacWest Conference, Roybal achieved a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage while recording seven putouts and 60 assists. 

Roybal adds this honor to her growing list of accolades for the 2023 season including: First Team All-PacWest Outfielder, Second Team All-PacWest Pitcher and four-time PacWest Player of the Week.
