IRVINE, Calif. --- The Eagles powered through the 2022-23 year and grabbed fourth place in the PacWest Commissioner's Cup standings. The list of 11 conference teams battled it out, gathering points throughout the year based on each sport's finish.

Biola scored the second-most points of any school in the PacWest with 139 on the year. Through 14 sports, BU averaged 9.93 points per team, ranking fourth in the conference. The highest ranking team in each sport earned 15 points for its school. 

Spring action brought strong performances from a trio of BU teams. Softball led the way with 13 points after a third place showing in 2023. Women's track and field tacked on a second place finish at the PacWest Championships, scoring 12 points for the Eagles. Women's golf took third at their own tourney, adding 10 points to BU's total.

Azusa Pacific took the crown for the third-straight year with an average of 12.54 points per sport. Point Loma and Concordia followed with averages above 10 as well.

Biola was the only school of the 11 in the conference to sponsor 14 of the 15 PacWest sports.
