INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.---Brady Turnquist was selected by the Division II Women's Golf Committee to advance to the NCAA West Regional as an individual.

Turnquist will be representing Biola in the 54-hole West Regional hosted by Dallas Baptist University on Monday, May 8 to Wednesday, May 10 at the Golf Club of Dallas.

Last time Turnquist played at the Golf Club of Dallas she broke Biola's program record for the lowest individual round. Turnquist recorded a single round of six-under-par 65 at the DBU West Regional Preview. 

Turnquist has been a key member in the Eagles line-up and was chosen as PacWest Golfer of the Week twice this year and averaged a single round score of 75.66. Turnquist has led the Eagles with five top three tournament finishes and was second on the leaderboard at the PacWest Championships.

Turnquist was one of six individuals selected to attend the NCAA West Regional. Also attending the West Regional as individualists are: Maria Sierra Sanz (Angelo State), Arnie Taguines (Texas Permian Basin), Yuliana Yapur (Texas A&M International), Morgan Sjoerdsma (Cal State LA) and Elle McCord (Northwest Nazarene).

Twelve teams will be competing in the West Regional including: Dallas Baptist University, Cal State San Marcos, West Texas A&M, Point Loma, Oklahoma Christian, Cal State East Bay, St, Mary's, University of Texas at Tyler, Colorado Christian, Holy Names, CSU Pueblo, and Simon Fraser.

The top four teams and two individuals who are not advancing as a team will advance to the NCAA Championships which will be held from May 16-20 at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri.
