IRVINE, Calif.--- Raylene Roybal was awarded with this week's PacWest Pitcher of the Week honor for her strong performances against Academy of Art and Azusa Pacific. 
 
Roybal pitched three of Biola's six games this past week and achieved a 3-0 winning record, which made her overall record 14-6. 

In three games, Roybal threw 20 innings where she recorded a 2.10 ERA. Roybal also tossed 11 strikeouts against her opponents with her game-high being five strikeouts in the first game she pitched against ART U.

This is Roybal's fourth time receiving this conference weekly honor.

Biola (27-18 overall, 19-9 PacWest) was also named PacWest Team of the Week for the fourth time this season. The Eagles were picked as the conference's Team of the Week for going 6-0 which extended their winning streak to 10 games. On Saturday, Biola clinched second place in the PacWest Conference, which cemented their positioning in the first ever PacWest Conference Championships. 

The Eagles play next on Sunday, Apr. 30 at 3 and 5 p.m. against Dominican.
