LOUISVILLE, Ky.--- Colby McClinton represented Biola on the National Fastpitch Association (NFCA)/Tucci's DII Player & Pitcher of the Year 2023 watchlist.

McClinton, a true freshman from Kaneohe, Hawai'i, is one of 115 student-athletes from across the nation to be selected to this prestigious watchlist which included around 15 athletes from each region.

McClinton is the Eagles' starting shortstop who has played and started in all 29 games this season. McClinton leads the PacWest Conference with a .495 batting average and 48 hits.

McClinton also set a new Biola Softball program record for longest on-base streak where she has collected at least one hit in every game this season.

The Eagles play next tomorrow Friday, Mar. 31 at No. 23 CSU Dominguez Hills at the Toro Diamond.
